Morning Star First Baptist Church is a vibrant church community located in Hickory, NC, dedicated to spreading hope, faith, and love. As the oldest African American church in the area, we have a rich history of faith, service, and community leadership. We’ve been welcoming individuals and families to join us in worship, community service, and spiritual growth. Our mission is to inspire and nurture the Hickory community and beyond, encouraging everyone to live a life of purpose and faith. We welcome all people — individuals and families of all ages, backgrounds, and life stages — who are seeking community, spiritual growth, prayer, and a deeper relationship with God.
